T.P: Despina, how do you feel now that you’re in Salonika? What does this town mean to you?
D.V: Salonika isn’t just a town that I visit. It may be small but it’s a huge part of my heart. This is where I decided to make my first big dreams.

T.P: We already heard two new songs by you, which also make it to the first places on charts. But everyone wants to know if Despina Vandi is going to release a complete album and when would this be?
D.V: I guess in the first days of March we will be having a complete album right in our hands.. We wrote a lot of songs with Foivos.I feel like me and Foivos are growing up together.. after all
those years of collaboration we both have the same concerns.

T.P: 1 year later Despina, we’re hearing of a collaboration of yours with Alexandros Rigas on a musical. Will this happen?
D.V: We have been talking about this with Alexandros for 1 year. At this Moment , Alexandro’s writing. But it’s too many that we have to talk about..the script.. the production.. Although , we see it in a possible way.

T.P: You have started the shows with Elli Kokkinou and Nikos Ikonomopoulos at Fever, for 2 months and that’s going very very well, even though many people had said that 2 beautiful and famous women
in the same club wouldn’t get along at all.
D.V: Me and Elli Kokkinou know each other for a long long time. She’s very sweet as long as a very good girl, and we had already done something together like that. And with Nikos being with us..there’s you know.. chemistry! This is why we’re successful ’till now, despite the economical crisis. We’re doing a very nice show.

T.P: Despoina, many blogs have been spreading rumors this year that your label company thinks about sending you to.. Eurovision. Is this true??
D.V: I’m not thinking to go to Eurovision again. I’m not interested to it anymore. And about.. the global career subject..well it’s something very hard. We did it once with Foivos, with the song Geia and I was going crazy! I’ve been going to USA and Russia all the time.. and all this happen at the same time when I became a mother. I wanted so badly to go back home to my Melina…
