This post is not directly related to Despina but I just opened a fansite for another singer of whom I am a big fan – Nelly Furtado! As a Portuguese girl myself, Nelly has been one of my all time favorite performers and we feel so proud of her in Portugal! I had the blessing of seeing her live already and she’s just amazing! Anyway I started a fansite so I am promoting it and thought I’d let you guys know in case some of my visitors here enjoy Nelly’s music and/or are fans as well. I would like to wish all our visitors a fantastic new year 2010, wow this decade flew by so fast! I am about to leave for the New Year’s Party and I wanted to make a quick post before I leave. 2010 will be out 3rd year online and you can expect a lot of goodies and news on Despina Vandi Fan, and it’s a promise, I’m gonna find time for the site, you can hope. Happy Halloween guys! At least for those of you who celebrate it, cause I don’t. Well in Portugal we have other kind of celebrations; anyway, just letting you know I appreciate the nice comments on the site and this really makes me go on with it. At the moment I’m working on the lyrics archive what will give me a lot of work, and I’m also doing an icon source, so if you would like to donate your graphics (icons only, any size) please email me or leave a comment here. Also the gallery will go down this afternoon from 4 to 6 pm cause I need to change the layout and re-organize some things.

And last, keep voting on our monthly poll on the sidebar and let’s see what is fan’s favorite Despina album. I will be adding more polls and other interesting things soon. What do you guys think about a forum? Give me answers!

This is an off topic to DVF but I have opened another fansite to British singer Joss Stone, to provide fans with the latest news, information, photos, etc… and I thought I’d let you know in case some of you might be a fan of Joss or appreciate some of her music.
