Hey guys I added a couple of new videos to our archive! I added videoclips to Deka Entoles, Na Tin Xairesai, Den Pethainei H Agapi, Spania, O Perittos, Thelo Na Se Ksexaso, Oute Ena Euxaristo and Stin Auli Tou Paradeisou. You can view them all by clicking here.

I also found the Intro Video of Despina’s performance at the 2009 MAD Video Music Awards and well she looks hot! This was the video shoot as an introduction of her performance to her summer hit “Yparzei Zwh”. I also made screencaptures and added to our gallery.

I added 2 videos from news segments featuring Despina where she speaks about her Premiere at Politia this Winter. I also made screen captures of both videos and added to the gallery. You can watch the videos by clicking here and screen captures here.

Despina had her premiere last night and I know I’m a little behind on news, because I have been sick and unable to come online. I plan on giving the site a new layout before Christmas and work more on the video archive as soon as I feel better. Thanks for sticking with the site.

I added to our video archive footage from Despina’s interview to the popular Greek show “Kafes Me Tin Eleni” from 2008. The video is divided in two parts and can be seen here.

I finished the theme and now we officially have a streaming video site! I am so excited about it, I have been making clips and uploading, so far there’s only 15 videos available and 13 audios but I will be adding more on the following days. Now I just have to finish the icons and lyrics sections and you’ll have a lot more to browse through on the site. I hope you enjoy this new addition

So as I told you before, I have been working on making this site a really complete resource. I don’t want to only post news, I am creating other networks and trying to come up with interesting things that you fans might like. So I started with a streaming media site, if you don’t know, it’s a youtube like site, where you can watch, comment, rate and even download your favorite Despina videos. At this point, I am ripping and editing clips from my DVDs and uploading. I also started adding some instrumentals and acapellas you should take a look! You can access the site here. I know it looks plain, I still need to make a layout for it, but I thought I’d let you know about it as soon as possible.

I am still working on an icon source and the lyrics section, and seriously thinking about a forum, but I’m not sure about it yet, I would need someone to help out on that. Leave your suggestions.

My friend Pascalia has sent me this new video of Despina giving a cute interview to a quite popular Greek show. The whole thing is in Greek obviously but here’s the main ideas of what she talks about, for those of you who don’t understand Greek:

- She talks about her 2 year old son Georgios, on how he loves music and it excites him; it’s funny she says if she tries to sing kids songs while trying to make him fall asleep, the contrary happens and he gets more excited than ever. “That’s how I know I’m trying to make him sleep in the wrong way” she says;

- On plastic surgery, Despina confesses to have thought about it, as being 40 years old and in 10 years, 50, and as being a celebrity well known in her country, although she says to be quite afraid of it, and doesn’t know if she would do it herself, given the fact that the actual result after a surgery isn’t always the best or at least expected, as we can state on some Hollywood celebs;

- On her sometimes “wild” stage performances, Despina states that when she’s on the stage, she is “a singer, so she acts like one” and when she’s with her children, then she “acts like a mother” and never mixes up the two things.

- Her daughter Melina is also mentioned, when Despina says that her birth was “the stronger feeling/emotion she ever felt, as being mother for the first time”.

Sorry guys if there’s some mistakes, as I stated before my Greek is very poor and I only tried to catch up with the main ideas from what my friend told me. I also made screencaptures of the video which can be seen here, and also it will be available very soon in our video archive. Enjoy!

On her concert in Athens, last September 25th, while performing her old hit Ti Kano Moni Mou Despina surprised everyone when she ripped off her already mini shirt and ended up throwing it to a lucky fan among the audience. Here is the video, check it out, thanks to vandiworld.gr.
