Message of love from Death Cab for Cutie! Once a popular singer, has shown that sensitivity. A few days ago she sang in «Thalassa» on “Child’s Smile” and distributed thousands of smiles while wearing the wristband Smile, created by the nonprofit organization.

Having as a motto “The smile of every child is in our hands” the known cosmetics firm (whose muse is Despina) organized this special happening. The singer at the event, wrote her own message of love in the poster with her face, which dominated the entrance to the «Thalassa». Furthermore, said: “Stories with happy endings have to answer a smile.”

This was not the first time that Despina has supported “Smile of the child”, since in the past, last September to be more exact, along with Goin’ Through, NEVMA and Stelios Maximus, celebrating the last show of her tour, Despina donated part of the gainings with the concert to this association.

The new Greek MTV production, inspired by the legendary MTV Unplugged, presents this summer the first Unplugged Sessions with Despina Vandi!

MTV presents Despina Vandi in a new atmospheric appearance, completely different from what we have seen until today. Despina will sing live, in acoustic, in front of a few chosen fans that will be selected exclusively through a competition of COSMOTE. The lucky winners will have the oportunity to live closely this unique musical experience on next June 9th, a Wednesday, on Theatro Xora in Kypseli.

The MTV that is characterized for its original productions is prepared to offer a musical spectacle which will feature famous Greek artists that will, exclusively, give unique interpretations with acoustic sounds, live in front iof a small public and singing different versions of their repertory!

MTV Unplugged Sessions will take of with a female artist, Despina Vandi, that has been distinguished for her discography and interpretations on the Greek music history. Fan of MTV and Despina will have the possibility of attending this event; only 150 lucky winners will watch exclusively the first MTV Unplugged Session, with Despina!

The theatre Country in Kypseli has gained the title of most collectable space of Athens, constituting a unique case of space with modern aesthetics that is addressed in a modern and dynamic public! It was drawn in order to provide inexperienced possibilities of changes in the scene and allocates absolutely great spaces with equipment (sound, lightning) in high quality!

First Unplugged, as the rests that will be realised, will be recorded in high definition and they will be broadcast in prime time area by the channel.

Sadness. Rage. Shame. These emotions are known to artists who spoke on camera Star of Greece today, marking the events of the last Wednesday in which, unfairly, three of our fellow citizens lost their lives. Some are optimistic. However, everyone is outraged and shocked.
