On last Sunday, December 12th, Despina and her children Giorgos and Melina, attended the “Christmas Bazaar”, an event to help a charity foundation for children, that Despina has been supporting this year, “Xamogelou Tou Paidiou”. I added several photos to our gallery, go check them!

Despina, among many other Greek celebrities, attended the opening of a boutique called Dsqaured last Monday. I added a couple of photos, she looks really nice!

Wow it’s been a while since I really updated the site, and so we missed some important things that happened in the Despina world. I already added some new photos to the gallery, candids of her on the airport with Elli Kokkinou and attending the baptism of Phoebus kids.

Also, as you guys surely remember, Despina was the first singer to do MTV’s Unplugged in Greece back in July. The concert will air on MTV Greece on next Wednesday, September 22nd, at 10PM, don’t miss!

Seven celebrities, and Despina was one of them, from showbiz revealed their relationships with their bikinis and the secrets to their sexy appearance on the beach.

Do you feel comfortable when you’re photographed in a swimsuit?
No! I generaly don’t feel comfortable neither when I’m photographed and neither when I’m wearing a swimsuit. (laughs)

What’s the best swimsuit for you?
That covers a lot of body. The only reason I wear a bikini sometimes is because I want to get a sun tan. In any case, apart from the aesthetic, comfort also takes a very big role. Apart from that, I’m very careful to chose a bikini that will fit my body and it’s safe, so when I’m playing with my children there won’t be any accidents.

What do you do when it’s time to put on a bikini for the first time on the beach?
I am careful all Winter with my diet and my gymnastics, so there isn’t much to show at that period. But from the first time that I put on a bikini and the last time I wear it, a lot will change. As soon as I stop on the exercise and start eating more, I believe I already gain around 2 or 3 kilos, so my body always ends summer differently than it started.

In your opinion, which are the Greek celebs that look better in a bikini?
Many are beautiful. Two that I specially like a lot are Tatiana Stefanidou and Jeny Balatsinou.

Today Despina turns 41 years old! The Greek star is currently on tour with Elli Kokkinou, all over Greece to promote her latest album, released in June.

Despina just arrived Crete, where she has a concert set for tomorrow, in Heraklion, and where she will celebrate her special day with her family and friends. Just last year, Despina also celebrated her birthday with a concert, but in Trikalas.
