According to a recent publication of the newspaper “Espresso” Despina Vandi could be doing a collaboration with Antonis Remos on next winter; same works for Anna Vissi and Sakis Rouvas, all big names on the music industry in Greece.

Both artists are already working with the same operator, Antonis with “Diogenis Studio” whenever time occurs and Despina in “Thalassa” which starts next month, all belonging to the Papatheochari group.

Yupi tried contacting Despina’s managements who was unwilling to deny or confirm the rumours.

I found an article that talks about Despina’s new album. It’s quite old, from early February, but I didn’t have the chance to post earlier, so you can read now.

After finishing her nightclub performances in the second biggest Greek city, Despina is preparing her new album, an usual collaboration with Phoebus. After her big summer hit “Yparxei Zwh” the singer is ready to go back to studio and work on some new material.

The first song is expected to be heard on March 7th on Natalia Germanou’s “Chart Show” in Alpha channel. The complete record should be out by the end of the Spring. At the same time Despina will be preparing some new shows and making it her comeback to Athenian dance floors, since she already accepted two proposals from two night clubs.

Apparently we will have to wait another week, since various sources tell Despina is going to released her new song on March 14th and not today

I just got the info that Despina released a new Greatest Hits Album, featuring some of her biggest hit songs on this past 8 years. I don’t know if it’s available to buy outside of Greece but I’ll search on some online stores. There’s also a regular edition and a special deluxe edition with 2 CDs and a DVD filled with videos. It was thought that a shaken long in the mind of the singer and friends of Alexander King, and Dimitris Apostolou, but rather came the fullness of time to take shape. We certainly remember the unique collaboration of King-Apostle to the best-”two strangers” where Despina Vandi played the … itself was only in love with soldier Alexander King. All this for the needs of their roles in the series. So now it seems that it’s time to work on a … overproduction, the musical “Let’s make Love” in the 60s had experienced tremendous success with the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe. Now, the role of heroine in the Greek version will take Despina stating very enthusiastic about such a scenario! It may be too early to expect immediately to raise the musical in this theater of Athens (SS Should precede the views of Despina Vandi Thessaloniki that begin in early December), but when he entered the … water in the gutter, a little patience. Moreover, Despina Vandi wants to prepare properly for this new career move as well as we know, what it does, he wants to do it perfect!

I got some information on a new Cd release from Despina! It’s called Despina Vandi: Destiny & Greatest Hits, it’s a double Cd and was released in Romania. I don’t know if it’ll be available for Europe or Worldwide, if I get any more information I’ll let you know!
