Happy Halloween guys! At least for those of you who celebrate it, cause I don’t. Well in Portugal we have other kind of celebrations; anyway, just letting you know I appreciate the nice comments on the site and this really makes me go on with it. At the moment I’m working on the lyrics archive what will give me a lot of work, and I’m also doing an icon source, so if you would like to donate your graphics (icons only, any size) please email me or leave a comment here. Also the gallery will go down this afternoon from 4 to 6 pm cause I need to change the layout and re-organize some things.

And last, keep voting on our monthly poll on the sidebar and let’s see what is fan’s favorite Despina album. I will be adding more polls and other interesting things soon. What do you guys think about a forum? Give me answers!

My friend Pascalia sent me this relatively old article about Despina, returning to Greece from Cyprus where she will give some concerts and a press conference too, because of the Greek elections. Funny that they talk about how she looks great and well dressed as a lady but notice she’s repeating the jacket, since she used it before. Well, everyone repeats clothes, right? Even Despina!

These are the latest rehearsals of Despina Vandi. The ones which were made yesterday,before the entering of cachpoles in “Enastron” club to stick the paper of ….the ejection on the wall,according to the exclusive article of PanoramaPress. What’s left for us to say now??
Good start???? If everything’s okay and the business man gets along with the proprietress,then… on 30th of October Despina will do her Premiere! Personally,we believe that everything’s gonna be great and the 2 sides will shake their hands,so the million of fans of Despina will be able to enjoy her!

Hey guys, I added 10 High Quality photos from Despina’s concert in Athens last September 25th, along with some better versions of photoshoots already added to the gallery and a new picture from Deka Entoles shoot. Here’s the previews:

My friend Pascalia has sent me this new video of Despina giving a cute interview to a quite popular Greek show. The whole thing is in Greek obviously but here’s the main ideas of what she talks about, for those of you who don’t understand Greek:

- She talks about her 2 year old son Georgios, on how he loves music and it excites him; it’s funny she says if she tries to sing kids songs while trying to make him fall asleep, the contrary happens and he gets more excited than ever. “That’s how I know I’m trying to make him sleep in the wrong way” she says;

- On plastic surgery, Despina confesses to have thought about it, as being 40 years old and in 10 years, 50, and as being a celebrity well known in her country, although she says to be quite afraid of it, and doesn’t know if she would do it herself, given the fact that the actual result after a surgery isn’t always the best or at least expected, as we can state on some Hollywood celebs;

- On her sometimes “wild” stage performances, Despina states that when she’s on the stage, she is “a singer, so she acts like one” and when she’s with her children, then she “acts like a mother” and never mixes up the two things.

- Her daughter Melina is also mentioned, when Despina says that her birth was “the stronger feeling/emotion she ever felt, as being mother for the first time”.
